Equipping Supervisees for Mediation
Supporting Pastoral Supervisors to Empower Supervisees
Service Description
Conflict and disagreement is a significant driver of physical and mental ill-health, and mediation has been shown to be an effective tool not only to resolve conflict but improve the lives and vocations of supervisees and their families. Yet many misconceptions remain about mediation: What is it, how does it work and why does it make a difference? In this workshop we’ll focus on the following: - To understand and articulate a best-practice mediation process from start to finish - To effectively answer supervisees’ questions regarding mediation and key benefits - To pro-actively ‘make the case’ for mediation when signposting options for supervisees - To effectively handle objections to mediation How this will benefit you and your supervisees: - Grow in confidence explaining the mediation process and responding to supervisees’ questions - Empower supervisees to make informed choices that will directly benefit them, their families and communities - Support supervisees’ physical and mental wellbeing as well as their professional vocation To find out more about this course, please contact Owen Bubbers-Jones on 07852253747 or at owen@khubareconciliation.com.
