In this practical session, we will deep dive into the mediators’ toolkit and hone your skills. Key Learning Objectives: To effectively manage strong feelings and challenging behaviours regarding oneself and others To identify the causes of conflict and underlying needs of participants To identify common ground, opportunities for collaboration and to develop constructive ways forward Benefits: Increased resilience, wellbeing and confidence in the face of conflict and challenging behaviours Less time spent dealing with unconstructive conflicts that fester Resolving a greater number of relational disagreements and conflicts in a timely manner via informal dialogue Less likely that leaders leave or retire early due to poor wellbeing Enabling your community to become a model for effective dialogue and conflict resolution This session is aimed at both ordained and lay faith leaders.
