Next session on Thursday 3rd December 2020 @ 9am-5pm Please call 07852253747 for an informal exploratory conversation Delivered as either a half-day, 1 day or 2 day course, this programme will give you the tools you need to manage and resolve conflict effectively in your community. It is specifically designed for those in positions of leadership but is open to all. Benefits: - Gain confidence that you have the tools and capacity to manage conflict situations more effectively - Resolve conflicts more quickly by understanding what the parties need - Spend less time in the conflict zone and more time in a constructive dynamic with team members and parishioners Learning Objectives: Depending on the length of your course, you will learn some or all of the following objectives: - Understand and be able to use the principles and processes of an effective mediation process - Better understand how you react and respond to conflict - Become fluent in the skills of a mediator, including: active listening, asking different types of questions, summarising and reframing - Become a more effective listener - More effectively manage the strong emotions of others - Structure difficult conversations and feedback constructively in the face of provocation and strong emotions - Identify the positions, interests and needs held by participants in conflict - Learn about the creative aspects of conflict when well managed Please get in touch to find out more about this course
